Miami-Dade County leads the nation in foreclosure rates, one consequence of which is a huge increase in the number of abandoned dogs.  Sabbath Rescue now has more dogs in its shelter than ever before.  Last year we kept an average of 90 dogs in the shelter.  Today, we care for more than 200.   We need additional financial aid to operate now, as donations to the shelter have decreased.  Our foundation income has also decreased sharply. The cost of veterinarian care, medical supplies, and overall operating expenses are increasing.  We are at a point where we do not have enough money to provide all the services we are accustomed to providing which includes medical care, spay & neutering, vaccines and much more.  The situation is serious.   We are in great need of cash infusion to help us continue. Without additional funds, we cannot continue to pay our bills and provide adequate care for the dogs.    Sabbath Rescue will soon be unable to take in more dogs….. for the first time in its 9 year history.  If for some reason we are not able to function, dogs we otherwise could have saved will perish.  We don’t want to give up now, but we need your support.   We want to continue saving the hundreds of dogs we do annually but without your contributions this will be impossible.  To send funds via PayPal, visit our website http://www.sabbathrescue.org/donationspage.asp You may also mail a donation to the address above.
