Job Description: The Respiratory Care NICU/PICU Supervisor performs all duties of a supervisor. He/she will be proficient in the treatment of respiratory disorders for neonates and pediatric patients. He/she will perform, teach and coordinate the activities of all respiratory care including NICU, PICU and Pediatrics. He/She will ensure all respiratory care for this population meets national quality and safety standards and meets the requirements of all regulatory bodies. He/she will ensure that all therapy is appropriate for these age groups. Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills. Registered Respiratory Therapist AS degree; BS preferred 5 or more years of experience in a hospital setting preferred Florida Board for Respiratory Care license ACLS NALS and PALS NBRC specialty certifications (Neonatal/pediatric practitioner) preferred Keywords: Registered Respiratory Therapist, AS degree; BS preferred, 5 or more years of experience in a hospital setting preferred, Florida Board for Respiratory Care license, ACLS, NALS, PALS, NBRC
