We are looking for the best and brightest to fly and land with us!The Landing Systems business in Miami Gardens, FL is looking for an experienced and reliable maintenance technician. The selected individual will apply their semi-advanced skills in the areas of Production and Quality by repairing, installing, adjusting, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial production equipment. Equipment requiring repair includes, but is not limited to production machinery, plating processing equipment and handling equipment.Core Responsibilitiesa cents Analyze troubleshooting results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems. a cents Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.a cents Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.a cents Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.a cents Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters, pressure gauges and other testing devices.a cents Re-assemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.a cents Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.a cents Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning electrical or mechanical components of machinery and equipment.a cents Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment or fixtures as required.a cents Record parts and materials used in order to requisition new parts and materials to maintain inventory.a cents Record repairs and maintenance performed.a cents May adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the positiona cents Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements. Actively support the organizationas efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.a cents Additional duties as assigned. AA/AS degree, Technical School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post highschool training (two years duration) with minimum of 5 years of industrial and or electrical maintenance experience. *Experience / Qualifications Demonstrated ability to independently perform all responsibilities within assigned area. Under minimal supervision, performs varied and moderately complex tasks.Available to work after normal business hours and weekends if required.Must show tenacity to perform meticulous work under pressure. Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and interface with internal/external resources. HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical maintenance experience is a plus.
