About the Job

Bernal Construction Corp., a rapidly growing general contracting company in Miami-Dade County is seeking an experienced bilingual (Eng/Spa) Construction Superintendent to join our team.

The Construction Superintendent will supervise all on-site construction, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.


- Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
Lead projects end to end through comprehensive completion by managing schedules.
- Establish and develop professional relationships with on-site staff while providing leadership.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
- Ensures that subcontractors regularly communicate and enforce their safety programs in order to meet OSHA safety standards and company’s safety policy.
- Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, and with quality workmanship that conforms to the construction documents.
- Understands the project plans and specifications.
- Tracks and receives material deliveries; resolving delivery discrepancies.
- Provides daily and weekly progress reports
- Prepares schedules and supervises completion of punch lists.
- Maintains an organized and clean job site.


- Minimum of 5 years superintendent experience in commercial or residential construction
- Must have technical understanding of construction means and methods
- Must have good supervisory, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to engage professionally with clients, subcontractors and skilled trades
- Strong knowledge of construction terms, reading plans and planning and scheduling concepts
