Job Description Wind Ready Inc. is seeking a hands-on Foreman to assist in directing activities of crews and workers on fenestration projects. As a foreman, you will lead the way for his crew adhering to schedules, coordinating site safety program in accordance with the company safety manual, and addressing productivity issues to ensure a high level of performance. Responsibilities: Understand subcontractor scopes of work and help avoid unnecessary change orders; identify problems early and act immediately to provide solutions. Provide general direction and oversight to the safe performance of work. Follow established safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean environment. Make sure that the proper methods and sequence of installation are followed, meeting schedule commitments and maintaining high quality standards. Monitor all subcontractors and construction team progress. Keeps track of status, develops schedules of completion and courses of action to take and ensure companies stay on track. Maintain daily diary of all activities and site conditions with complete, accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets etc. Assess and address performance issues with jobsite work crews and address performance issues with subcontractors. Arrange for, and maintain office on jobsite Keep track of supplies used at the jobsite and request materials from purchaser as needed Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Manage the punch list and closeout process. Build and maintain relationships with inspectors, contractors, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills, excellent planning and project management skills, and the ability to prioritize priorities and lead others. The right candidate for this job will have demonstrated success leadership and interpersonal skills with a wide variety of individuals and groups, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, individual employees, jobsite teams, and company executives. Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years direct experience in installing impact windows with record of leading others to proficiency in window installation. Proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Be a team player, reliable and organized Be professional, energetic and positive. Have superb leadership skills. Familiarity with OSHA requirements Bilingual. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
