Asset Protection PCB 13;
The Manager of Asset Protection (1) acts as lead investigator related to all fraud and crimes against bank and its customers, (2) completes thorough investigations and files SARs as required within appropriate timeframes, (3) coordinates security programs throughout PCB to minimize losses and protect company assets, (4) identifies and analyzes asset protection risks in order to effectively develop, recommend, and implement comprehensive security systems and countermeasures designed to eliminate or minimize losses
In this position, you will: 13;
:Act as lead investigator for the bank, complete investigations, make recommendations on account closures, file SARs as required by regulation, and act as liaison between branches and law enforcement
:Utilize our Service Request Portal to receive all potential fraudulent activity referrals from branches and investigate as required
:Manage the PCB security staff to complete all required tasks
:Prepare and present our annual corporate security program to the board of directors as required by regulation.
:Track and document security alerts and training to branch personnel.
:Document research performed during monthly review of employee overdrafts.
:Prepare Quarterly Sarbanes Oxley report
:Prepares Monthly SAR statistics and SMT report
:Perform SAR reporting and approvals
:Oversee the management of our card access system
:Track all security training
:Update policies and procedures as required
:Follow up on open investigations as required by regulation
:Ensure the protection of all Popular employees, customers, physical assets and corporate facilities are safe and in compliance with any federal or state regulations
:Ensure that all staff members at branches and administrative buildings remain knowledgeable regarding safety procedures at all times
:Act as liaison to all branches, departments, managers and staff throughout the North America footprint
:Accumulate, analyze, and investigate identified information of potential threats
:Manage all service contracts on all services concerning the banks security program
:Prepare, review and submit all matters on Capital Expenditures and budget to the National Security Director
:Manage Monthly Security Reports from branches; confirm alarm testing and identify service needs
:Respond to robberies and provide direction and assistance to the impacted branches; identify any temporary security resources needed
:Establish, conduct, and audit operational processes properly, and implement changes
:Serve as liaison with federal/local law enforcement agencies
:Oversee employee security training, when appropriate, to include knowledge and performance before, during, and after a hold:up as part of an overall Loss Prevention Program
To be considered, you will need: 13;
:Clear and strong understanding on federal and local law bank regulations, policies, and physical security standards
:Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information, and to understand business impact of decisions
:Effective oral and written communication skills
:Strong ability to effectively manage and coach employees, supervise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes
:Ability to work within approved budgets; develop and implement cost savings measures that contribute to prof
