POSITION DESCRIPTION: Audit electronic contract invoices processed in the Contract Invoice Transmittal System (CITS), for mathematical accuracy, and compliance with Florida Statutes, and Department of Financial Services and Department of Transportation policies and procedures.
Audit and processes contract/written agreement payments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code, directives, policies, procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles.
Audit payment documents including utility invoice transmittals, right of way invoices, purchasing card transactions, travel and individual reimbursement vouchers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code, directives, policies, procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles.
Receive certifications of surplus property from Unit Custodians and coordinate property disposal for tangible personal property not transferred to other Department of Transportation offices. Maintain property disposition files in accordance with departmental guidelines. Receive Property Management Reports for surplus property and verify and process Certification for Surplus Property. Coordinate with Unit Custodian and surplus warehouse to aid vendors in the donation program for surplus property.
Serve as the units cardholder and My Florida Market Place (MFMP) requester for procuring the necessary commodities and services for cost center 622, by following established purchasing procedures. These functions include but are not limited to processing any pending charges in the FLAIR purchasing card system within the prescribed time, reconciling the Monthly Paid Transactions Report by the 15th day of each month, creating requisitions using catalogs and non:catalog processes, processing change orders by updating the requisition, and making necessary travel arrangements for unit personnel including the completion of the Travel Reimbursement Form immediately after conclusion of staff members trip.
