The Baptiste Group is seeking Disaster Home Inspectors to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of disaster recovery efforts and assist those who have been affected by declared disasters.
Job Description:
Disaster Home Inspectors will be Independent Contractors. As a Disaster Home Inspector, you may deploy to federally declared disaster locations nationwide to perform damage assessments on affected homes (i.e. : fire, flood, hurricane, or tornado). No previous disaster housing inspection experience is required as all necessary training will be provided. NO INTERVIEW process. If you meet the requirements below, you will be registered and scheduled to start.
As a Disaster Home Inspector:
:You will list all disaster related losses; and photograph damaged property
:You will schedule and organize your own appointments
:You will communicate Inspections using your government issued tablet
:You will submit your electronic expense reports throughout weekly
:Must be a U.S. Citizen
:Complete and pass the required background process
:Complete the required on:line training module
:Attend an in:person training (mock inspection)
:Must have a valid drivers license
:Must be flexible and be available to deploy
Work hours are 10:12 hours per day, seven days a week. Expenses, such as room and board and travel expense, will be reimbursed. New inspectors can be expected to complete six inspections per day and be paid 35 per completed and approved inspection. Inspectors will also receive meals (Per Diem pay) according to GSA guidelines.
