Commercial Banking FL 13;
Oversee a diverse loan portfolio consisting of Commercial Real Estate Business Banking and Middle Market. In collaboration with the Region Executive, and other members of the senior management team, set strategy, organize and direct the lending functions for assigned markets. Responsibilities include business development, retaining existing business relationships, credit management, and talent management.
In this position, you will: 13;
:Manages a group of team leaders and their respective teams, responsible for Commercial Real Estate, Business Banking, and Middle Market.
:Develop an annual business plan of new loan growth, both commitments and outstanding, as well as setting targets for deposit growth and fee generation for the entire team.
:Discuss the annual goals with management and communicate them to the individual staff on the team responsible for loan and/or deposit growth.
:Manage existing loan portfolios to track the performance of the credit and monitor borrowers compliance with covenants and be able to make specific risk rating recommendations.
:Maintain and grow the existing client base with multiple loan and deposit products.
:Review and edit all loan presentations before submitting to Credit Administration.
:Oversee operational and risk management activities to ensure the highest level of customer service and operating efficiencies and compliance with Bank, regulatory, and credit requirements.
:Ensure compliance with all internal operating policies, procedures, and audit standards.
:Maintain a highly motivated and qualified division staff through the selection, placement, training, counseling, and promotion of people to achieve optimal team performance.
:Act as a strong mentor to team members and provide them with defined goals and a vision of their career path.
:Actively participate in business community activities, including attending business functions and networking events where new business opportunity is possible or deepening an existing relationship is the goal.
:Research, investigate, and resolve customer discrepancies, complaints, and payments.
:Act as liaison with various units responsible for providing service to the commercial customer including but not limited to the processing of loans, payments, financial analysis, statements, etc.
:Pro:actively seek information from clients and prospective clients to understand possible changing situations, needs, and desired benefits, and communicate information to relationship officer.
:Ensure respective databases are accurate and up to date for customer information.
:Compile data and generate management reports as needed.
To be considered, you will need: 13;
:Minimum Required: Undergraduate degree in finance or business:related field
:Desirable Education/Experience: 8+ years of experience in banking (commercial lending) with a concentration in middle market and C and I segments, with previous supervisor experience; Masters degree preferred.
