Location: Miami
Under the direction of the registered nurse, the Emergency Department Technician provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, policies, procedures and standards. Ensures quality and appropriateness of care for all age groups to include the neonate, pediatric, Adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. Demonstrates an ability to incorporate knowledge of patients age, growth and developmental level into the provision of care. Supports the philosophy of nursing at Homestead Hospital. Also monitors and participates in the orientation of all new Emergency Department technicians.
Current EMT or State Certification in related field
