The Behavior Analyst is involved in the development, implementation, and evaluation of interventions with individuals to produce socially significant outcomes.

This position is responsible for performing professional work that is substantially varied in nature under general direction from the Senior Behavior Analyst or other appropriate administrator. The Behavior Analyst applies professional training and experience to determine appropriate interventions for clients, and to carry out other appropriate assignments

Typical work activities include:

Provide staff and parent training and on site support in the area of applied behavior analysis for families.
Conduct direct observations and assessments of individual clients in their living,
educational, and community environments.
Develop and implement behavior programs, coordinating delivery of appropriate services to clients by caregivers to achieve therapeutic outcomes.
Train clients’ guardians and family members on treatment techniques
Manage and implement behavior intervention and therapy skill acquisition programming
Manage monthly schedule of hours worked per client based on client contract
Participate in interdisciplinary and/or care review meetings at which behavioral treatment programs are reviewed.
Collect baseline and intervention data to evaluate outcomes.
Follow company policies and meet company deadlines
Ensure requirements for documentation of clinical services are implemented.

Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a certification in behavior analysis or a license issued under Chapter 490 or 491, F.S.


Licensure and Experience Lead Analyst: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist. BCBA certification by the Board of Behavior Analysis.

Assistant Behavior Analyst: Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis or related field. BCaBA certification by the Board of Behavior Analysis.

Preferred: Experience in assessing and providing therapy to the developmentally disabled.


A level 2 background check is required prior to providing services conducted by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA General) and a Local Police Record no more than 60 days prior to providing services.


Proof of training in the areas of zero tolerance, direct care core competencies, and HIPAA prior to initially providing consultant services. Proof of annual or required updated CEU’s shall be maintained on file for review. The Consultant is responsible for all training requirements outlined by the department of professional regulations and/or the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Incumbent may need to possess the ability to assist in the containment of physically out-of-control consumers.
