Objective of the Operations Sales Analyst role is to strengthen the capabilities of the Sales Operations team to provide analytical support for the Sales Leadership Team. The role provides thoughtful analysis to various types of sales information requests that the Sales Operations team receives. This information helps support our leadersA? decision making process, which eventually leads to sales growth. Candidates must have knowledge of SQL to make database queriesBachelors degree in marketing, finance, computer science, engineering, or relevant fieldMasters degree in business administration (MBA) preferredFour (4) years or more of experience in a key reporting and analytical role (strongly preferred in Sales Operations)Four (4) years or more of experience with mining data warehouses and building reporting suitesTwo (2) years or more of experience managing others/leading teamsAnalytical thought process to discover problems and suggest best way to solve themBusiness acumen to understand management perspective and anticipate likely questionsExcellent communication skills to succinctly convey the results of the analysisPresenting to executives preferredStrong knowledge of reporting and visualization tools (i.e. Micro Strategy, Tableau, etc.) (advanced level)Knowledge of SQL to make database queries (intermediate level)Strong knowledge of MS:Excel to manipulate data via external source connection, pivot tables, create new or modify existing models (advanced level)Knowledge and experience with customer databases, data warehousing, sales automation systems preferred (intermediate level) preferredDemonstrated experience with process redesign (intermediate level)Knowledge of reports and dashboards (intermediate level)Work closely with field sales leadership to understand reporting requirements to drive revenue growthDevelop and maintain a suite of Senior Management and Executive sales reportingProcess ad:hoc requests for analysis on leading and trailing indicators of sales results, activity, territory planning and other projects and requests as assignedWork with IT for the development of enhancements that generate and consolidate data not currently availableProactively produce additional leading metrics that would point out areas where sales people and their manager need to focus to increase chance of success in obtaining new customers and retaining existing onesTrain and manage direct reportsProvide insight into sales trends to optimize performance of our sales forceAssist in the process of defining new Sales Operations procedures and refining existing ones.
