Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:
Assist in providing HR business partner strategic and tactical support to the global functions. The HR Manager will provide support and guidance to the functional groups by executing on the deployment of HR programs, providing employee relations assistance, supporting recruitment and retention, and maintaining legal compliance. Reviews and analyzes business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions for performance improvement, retention and enhancement of the employee experience. Provides management coaching to build leadership capabilities related to the recognition and resolution of employee issues. Provides career guidance to employees. Works with managers and employees to address employee relations issues of all types, ensuring that the interests of all parties are represented in a fair, balanced manner. Conducts on:on:one and/or group training sessions as appropriate.

Typical Qualifications:
4:year college degree in Human Resources (or Business) or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in Human Resources.

Experience Target:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or Generalist with a background reflecting progressive responsibility. Experience in associate relations, learning and development and problem and conflict resolution. Experience demonstrating extensive knowledge, interpretation and application of employment laws. Extensive knowledge of general labor policies and practices, including those related to discrimination and harassment. Prior experience delivering HR training and development programs. Experienced in leading positive change.

Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, including written and oral communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills. Success in developing and delivering compelling written and oral proposals. Strong problem solving and consulting skills. Excellent time management skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated listening skills. Solid PC skills with demonstrated ability to use a variety of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to assimilate, present and analyze data as needed. Experience with Success Factors preferred.

Demonstrated business savvy with ability to develop and maintain successful partnerships with both management and associates. Ability to serve as an associate advocate while balancing the needs of business units and the company. Ability to provide superior service to associates by listening, comprehending and guiding them through issues to closure. Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with ambiguity. Ability to develop strong business relationships. Proven ability to influence associates at all levels. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and provide proactive, effective change leadership. Understanding of and ability to ensure compliance.
Expert at establishing and maintaining effective relationships with management staff, front line associates, the general public and clients. Confidentiality is critical. Open:minded, trustworthy, compliance:oriented, flexible, adaptable and team:oriented.

Special Certifications:
Professional Human Resources certification and continuing HR/Legal education preferred.

Travel Required:
Minimal travel : up to 10.
