Position A and I Director

In conjunction with the MEC Analytics and Insights team is responsible for driving analysis and strategic thinking across all of the MEC client engagements and new business developments.

To lead a team of data and digital analytics, quantitative and qualitative research specialists and deliver best in class work.
To become an expert within their clientA?s industry and turn competitive and marketplace insights and analytics into actionable planning implications.
Ensure streamlined communication and business rules are followed.
Continue to develop and enhance insight and analytics methodologies and bridges among client teams internal and external.
Key responsibilities
Lead and facilitate collaboration with multiple internal and external teams (i.e. planning, buying, IT, research) and external teams (i.e. partner agencies, client)
Lead a team of 8:10+ members, exhibiting strong managerial and motivational skills
Develop and assess team scope; perform team and project P and L analysis
Serve as a resource to internal teams and external clients for reporting data and analytic results
Streamline communication channels between multiple teams
Maintain an understanding of communication teamsA? media efforts throughout the year; providing context to data and digital analytics
Develop data and digital analytics topics and reporting structure
Extract competitive insights beyond the observations and work with teams to derive strategic actionable implications
Manage and ensure the quality of analysis
Lead development and enhancement of reporting methodologies and tools
Serve as liaison between planning, interaction, analytics and modeling teams, ensuring each partiesA? needs are addressed
Serve as lead interface with the modeling and optimization teams : providing competitive, planning and marketplace context to data and ensuring A?business rulesA? are followed
Manage quality of data analysis and delivery to internal and external teams and ensure timely delivery of scheduled feeds

Strong knowledge of database design, applications, and data flows
Extremely knowledgeable of integrated marketing and customer relationship management disciplines

Ability to translate information and data into insights
Experience managing direct reports
Proficiency in media research resource such as consumer studies (GFK MRI, Simmons, Scarborough,) comScore (Mobile Metrix, Plan Metrix, Media Metrix,) Nielsen Online (Ad Relevance,) Ad Effectiveness studies (Dynamic Logic, Vizu,) Kantar Stradegy, is desirable, but not required
7:10 years in the media or data analytics industry:
