Legg Mason Investments is currently hiring a Client Relationship Manager (Internal Wholesaler) to support sales initiatives. The position is based in our Miami, FL office.Build and maintain understanding of the sales strategy and the Legg Mason affiliates, their products, investment process, style and initiatives in order to proactively provide excellent CRM support to Directors of Business DevelopmentUnderstand and anticipate the needs of the Directors of Business Development, and provide timely and appropriate support to assist them in developing key relationships with retail, home office and quasi institutional clients in order to deliver against departmental andorganizational objectivesStrengthen and deepen current client relationships. Actively calling a broad range of clients to understand their needs, develop their understanding of the range of offerings to enable further sales opportunitiesSupport strategic marketing initiatives on a corporate and divisional level (across international regions), provide sales support for the Directors of Business DevelopmentSupport strategic Global Clients initiative by collaborating with LMID constituents around the worldWork as a partner with the other team members in order to develop and implement a business plan and sales strategyDevelop and enhance industry, markets, and product knowledge in order to effectively communicate and build credibility with clientsDeliver effective presentations for internal and external audiences to promote Legg Mason Funds products, services and competitive advantages (i.e. conference calls, presentations, etc)Develop and maintain a database of key relationships behaviorOther duties as assigned3:5 years of Financial services or related experienceBachelors degree in finance, economics or business managementSeries 7 license (or ability to obtain the series 7 within 90 days of hire) Exceptional presentation skillsAnalytical skillsAbility to build relationships over the phone Ability to explain in technical detail, Legg Mason products in the context of financial markets Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong organizational skills Ability to work well independentlyEnthusiastic team player and self starter with ability to prioritize and work in a fast:paced sales environmentFlexible and adaptableStrong customer relationship management and servicing skills as well as internal corporate relationship management capabilitiesTechnologically proficient and knowledgeableFluent (verbal/written) Spanish and English required, and Portuguese fluency a plusLegg Mason offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, employee stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement, and much more.
