Ensure that all orders are processed the same day in order for the patient to receive the supplies in a timely manner. Maintains accurate inventory reporting of Respiratory vehicles on a daily basis. Ensurs that supplies are ordered in a timely manner to avoid not having inventory in stock. Performs inventory checks on a weekly basis of designated areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*
Review and Process orders daily in the MedTrac System
*
Accesses UPS system daily, print out labels, and properly get supplies ready for shipment to patients.
*
Complete all UPS orders assigned for that day before the end of the day.
*
Quality Audit orders to avoid patients receiving incorrect items
*
Answers phone calls from staff that have questions
*
Dispatches Respiratory Therapists, reconciles equipment on a daily basis, checks company vehicles.
*
Processes RA’s and sends equipment back to the manufacturer when requested by the procurement department.
*
Performs daily walkthrough’s of the vault and makes sure that supplies are rotated and there is no expired stock on the shelves. (FIFO)
*
Maintains the vault area cleaned and organized
*
Dispenses Liquid Oxygen labels and records in log
*
Maintains on-call cages clean and organized. Re-stock items accordingly. Inventory is performed before re-stocking an item to ensure that the item removed was accounted for. A full inventory of all items must be performed on a weekly basis. All equipment with a back-up battery must be plugged in.
*
Before exiting the vault area, the entire vault area must be locked and secured before exiting the premises.
*
Strictly adheres to company Policy and Procedures on Infection Control Safety
*
Participates in Training Programs
*
Follows Company Policy on Patient Confidentiality
Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS
*
High School Diploma or equivalent
*
One to two years of experience in the in the DME/RT industry in any capacity, or two to three years general inventory control experience
*
Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively and clearly with internal customers including customer service, intake, department heads, senior management and supplier sales representatives
*
Able to work independently and under pressure.
*
Possess good organizational skill
*
Be familiar with medical terminology and supplies.
*
Dependable in attendance and job performance.
*
Required to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures. Supports and participates in the mandatory Corporate Compliance Program training initiative on an annual or more frequent basis, as required.
