HUB Delivery Driver - Advance Auto Parts, Inc (Hialeah, FL)

As an Advance Auto Parts Team Member, you are perceived not just as an employee, but as a host/hostess. In your role as a host/hostess, you are to greet/approach customers, make them feel welcomed, fulfill automotive needs and suggest applicable related items in a quick, efficient manner. Your goal is to serve the professional customer beyond their expectations. Other duties may be assigned. CRITERIA/CHARACTERISTICS Competent at oral and written communications and handle basic math computations. Well mannered, neat in appearance, and able to meet and deal with the public in an unbiased manner. Previous work record should show stability and performance results. Submit to pre-employment drug testing (Nov. 1, 1994, or after) in accordance with the appropriate state provisions. Position is subject to random drug testing. Good driving record. Provide a copy of their driving record for pre-employment and employment purposes (See Fleet Policy Criteria). Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus SIGNIFICANT PHYSICAL DEMANDS Almost constant standing/walking. Lifting/carrying - 100 pounds occasionally when unloading/loading merchandise from truck; 35-40 pounds frequently. Good manual skills (gross and fine finger dexterity). Able to reach above shoulder level. Capable of frequently squatting, bending and reaching. Capable of climbing, stooping, kneeling and crouching on an occasional basis ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Comply with all federal, state and local laws. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Immediately report to General Manager and/or Division Manager any violation of company policy or procedures. Complete all required training manuals/material, etc Complete all scheduled or required company meetings. Meet or exceed all assigned sales goals or quotas. Consistently assist customers in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.
