Title: RN-SURGICAL SERVICES-DELIVERY ROOM-PER DIEM-7P-7ALocation: FL-HialeahOther Locations:The Labor and Delivery nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for an assigned number of clients for a designated timeframe. Provides antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn and obstetrical perioperative and perianesthesia family centered care, to childbearing women and their families, as appropriate. Provides care using the nursing process, in accordance with policies and procedures, regulatory standards and the philosophy of Hialeah Hospital.-Current RN licensure by the Florida State Board of Nursing.-Two years of Labor and Delivery/Newborn Nursery experience.-Completion of an AWOHNN approved Basic Fetal Monitoring Course. And a course every 2 years thereafter.-IV insertion and maintenance skills competency.-Basic computer knowledge.
