Recycling Collection Program Coordinator Role.
Job Posting and Job Description.

Local Recycling Company in the printing and communications industry is looking for a Recycling Collection Program Coordinator for a Permanent position in the Medley Area.

Position Summary.

This position will effectively manage and oversee the end-to-end recycling collection program, promote, sell and expand collection channels and coordinate and execute the communication strategy with collection partners. This position will support and coordinate other administrative functions related to the collection program. This role will report to managing partner of the firm.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Effectively manage, maintain & oversee the collection program including: Schedule and coordinate pick ups, generate and analyze collection reports, identify opportunities for improvement, answer collection program calls and set up new accounts.

2. Effectively promote, sell & expand the Collection program including: identify, qualify and expand number and quality of collection partners / channels, and collection volumes. Participate in trade shows and other events, etc.

3. Effectively coordinate and execute communication with collection partners, including: content development of newsletters, feedback and follow up from partners, enhance participation and engagement from partners.
a. Execution of communication strategy is geared to maintain regular contact with collection partners and promote key updates, innovative ideas in recollection practices, news and awards, raise greater awareness, share fundraising opportunities,

4. Support and coordinate other administrative functions related to the collection program and ongoing program enhancements, reporting, and analysis.

5. Actively participate and engage in other company activities requested by leader, support other management activities and coordination, staff meetings, promotion activities and channel development, among others.


Requirements:

• Excellent Customer Service skills in order to anticipate, meet and exceed customer/recycling partner expectations.
• Ability to work effectively in teams, and meet objectives and commitments in a timely manner.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Effectively manages time and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to persuade and influence others, building trust and credibility while promoting products and services. Incumbent must be able to interact with all levels in the organization and with external clients and partners.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills in order to anticipating, analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving problems. Ability to work in a systematic and detailed manner.
• Effectively handling difficult or sensitive issues by utilizing tact, diplomacy and an understanding of organizational and collection partner’s culture.
• Strong administrative skills in order to organize and maintain a broad range of activities. Incumbent must be pro-active, results oriented and self-driven.

Other Requirements:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual – Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Previous work experience of minimum 5 years.
Demonstrated experience in the use of systems and reports.
• Use of SAP System is a plus.

• Participation in trade shows and other networking events brings increased business, raises awareness of company and attracts new partners.
