The UMHC/Sylvester Registration/Admitting is seeking a Patient Access Representative. Responsible for the registration of patients to the clinic based on multiple types of services and prioritizes registrations as appropriate. Obtains pertinent information from patient, informs the patient or their representatives of financial requirements, collecting when necessary according to established guidelines and financial policy.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: High School diploma or equivalent education and one year relevant experience are required. Experience in a medical office or hospital experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. Bi-lingual is preferred. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
