POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations and Customer Service Coordinator will oversee the daily activity of all operations and internal/ external customer service tasks. The coordinator is also responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the company through effective methods and strategies.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations and Customer Service Coordinator duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
:Manages all Back Orders.
:Works closely with Warehouse and Logistic Coordinator on all receivables and ensures that deliveries are properly planned to clients and for showroom display.
:Follows up with each associate to ensure all written back orders are correct in and properly submitted for production.
:Follows up with all Back Orders are arriving according to estimated production time. Keeps sales team aware of status for each order.
:Works directly with Operations Manager and responds to all incoming inquiries and clients claims in a timely manner.
:Monitors samples and marketing material ownership and provides showroom with all necessary selling tools.
:Works with the Store Manager on coordinating maintenance of showroom and repairs needed.
:Controls supplies ownership and prepare monthly supply orders according to needs and at a cost conscious level.
:Conducts weekly walkthroughs of the showroom to ensure all stock products are available and correct on inventory and communicates needs to Operations and Logistic Manager.
:Interact with sale team to discuss the current condition of Operations and Logistics and works with Operations and Logistic Manager on creating strategies for improvement on an as needed basis.
:Monitor adherence to company rules, regulations, and procedures.
:Works with Warehouse Logistics Coordinator on controlling inventory, and plan effective strategies for the financial well:being of the company.
:Process data entry for all Back Orders in the system with the correct information.
:Ensure all COMs are completed upon arrival, coordinates receiving and shipping according to clients direction and needs.
:Coordinates with showroom manager and visual coordinator on showroom floor sets and delivery at the highest efficiency to not disturb clients shopping experience and on ensuring best planning is in place.


QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Operations and Logistics/ delivery work experience preferred.
Purchasing experience.
Analytical ability and proficiency in margin calculations, inventory management, and logistics.
Ability to clearly communicate with customers, vendors and team members.

LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATH ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
