Schedule: Part Time 3pm-11pm. Weekends/evenings required. Summary: Anticipate need of residents and execute all requests in a timely fashion. Be instrumental in creating a safe and welcoming environment and executing five-star service exceeding expectations in customer service by patrolling and monitor premises to report infractions of rules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Concierge: Employee leads by example, consistently conveying a positive attitude, passion, and pride in your work. Approach all encounters with residents, guests, and fellow employees in a gracious, attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner. Conduct all concierge services for the association as an ambassador of Ovation- with integrity and in a professional manner at all times. Respect all residents' privacy, information, perspective, priorities, times, and resources. Take part in maintaining a clean working environment. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with KW's standards, as required by the employee handbook, scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Association. Establish relationships with local merchants and service providers. Maintain the highest standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include but not limited to, wearing proper attire and approved uniform. Comply at all times with Association's and KW's standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Communicate with residents and guests concerns to management promptly. Perform all services using KW standard operating procedures. Maintain a professional relationship with residents and guests- directly responsible for member/guest satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized working environment- the concierge provides the first impression of all guests and residents of the Association. Receive all lost and found items; keep a log of lost and found items. Maintain a log for all incoming and outgoing packages, call resident and maintain records of all packages. Patrol premises, including the parking lot, to detect and report signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of, visitors, contractors, and other persons that have accessed the property. Answer alarms as per Emergency Guidelines provided to you. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Follow all standards policies and procedures with regards to emergency response by coordinating with Management, Chief Engineer, or Fire Rescue / Police services. Be familiar with the fire alarm system operations and report all incidents to management. Report any violations of the Rules and Regulations that are noticed at any time. Report any and all maintenance items which include, but is not limited to, burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment to the building maintenance department. Prepare reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Provides quality services to residents and guests. Produces any needed communications o meet Association requests/needs. Performs other duties as required by the Association and management. Job Requirements At least High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with computers and software used in an office environment. May require employee to constantly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects 25-50 pounds in weight. Must be able to communicate well and convey information and ideas clearly. Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training. Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Position Supervision Employee reports directly to the Association Manager of the community and is to take direction only from the Manager.
