The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology is seeking a Department Administrator, Clinical to oversee the administrative, clinical, academic, and research functions of the department. Under the direction of the Departments Vice-chair povides startegic solutions to improve revenue management, statistical modeling capabilities, performing tracking and process improvement, this position will be responsible for increasing the net professional revenues within the department of Medicine while developing, organizing, managing daily operations of the division's. This role includes responsibility for the achievement of optimal performance in the finance, clinical practice, cost effectiveness and areas of patient satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field and five years effective job-related experience required. Experience including academic programs and medical billing preferred. Duties include managing the business and financial aspect of the Division including billing, personnel, and short and long range financial planning. Any appropriate combination of education, certifications, and/or relevant work experience will be considered.
