This position will be responsible for developing and supporting custom business applications and off the shelf software within the Central Support Services (CSS) Technology Services Team. He / She will be responsible for developing custom business applications, maintaining and enhancing current functionality, and learning to support an array of technologies. The CSS Technology Services Team (CTS) is responsible for Enterprise Content Management / Content Management Technologies; Custom Imaging and Transactional Imaging Solutions, Finance and Tax Solutions, Hyperion Infrastructure, HR Solutions, Custom .Net, C, Web Portals and Business Process Management applications.Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent work experience requiredMinimum of 3: 5 years experience implementing software solutions with Microsoft .net, framework, web developmentProgramming in C and ASPMinimum of 3 : 5 years experience implementing database solutions with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and DB2, including stored procedures, triggers, views, etc.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Experience with the Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSIS/SSRS) and Microsoft Reporting ServicesExperience in design, development and maintenance of enterprise level systemsExperience with Content Management Systems a plus (i.e. SharePoint, Kofax, DocuShareResponsibilities include the development of custom business applications and support of existing custom applicationsThe candidate for this position must be able to interact with business users to gather requirements, analyze requirements to design and develop sound and effective solutions, test the solutions, deploy the solutions to the live environment for general use, and develop documentation to facilitate the ongoing maintenance and support of these applicationsAdvanced analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills along with strong related technical skills, and a history of successfully operating as part of a team that organizes, plans, and executes large:scale projects or assignments from vision to implementationAble to work independently and solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross:functional project teams and maintain team commitment to tasksBroad conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in server / client applications, Web Technologies, PC computing environments desirable; in:depth experience in one or more is criticalResearches and evaluates alternatives and recommends solutions for system designKnowledge of project management techniques is requiredCan:do positive attitudeExcellent customer service skillsSense of responsibility and follow:throughCollaborative, holistic problem:solving Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
