Description: Do you have a knack for resolving complex technology issues? Do you communicate well to both technical and non-technical users? 4IT is seeking a talented hard-working Project Engineer with good Project Management skills to work out of our Broward or Miami-Dade location and join our team of 30 to assist in providing technical support to our base of more than 150 clients throughout South Florida. In this position, you will not only apply your sharp troubleshooting skills to support our customers systems, but based on your specialty, you will also mentor the team across all locations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop project plans, goals, and budgets while identifying resources needed, developing schedules, and measuring results in ConnectWise.Understand overall project objectives, as well as the role and function of each project team member.Ensure the project objectives and requirements are clear and agreed upon by all team members.Coordinate delivery and implementation of projects that meet quality assurance standards.Assist project team in design and development tasks.Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion with budgetary requirements.Drive problem investigation and resolution as required.Ensuring that risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated and that projects are delivered successfully through to production.Design and maintain technical and project documentation.Advanced support services and working knowledge of Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.Advanced support services and working knowledge of virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and MicrosoftIn- depth technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and securitySupport of disaster recovery solutionsDocumentation and IT Support relating to issues with the network infrastructureAdvanced remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and CitrixMonitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service ticketsSystem documentation maintenance and review in ConnectWiseCommunication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outagesAdditional Duties and Responsibilities:Improve customer service, perception, and satisfactionAbility to work in a team and communicate effectivelyBusiness awareness: specific knowledge of the customer and how IT relates to their business strategy and goalsWork with the Service Desk Dispatcher to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource in order to be resolved quickly and efficientlyUnderstand and help improve processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise UniversityPM17.
