The Director will manage a team of Security Architects whowork directly with each Global Business Unit Developers, Cloud Architect andOperations to review and bring service through the corporate review process. The position will drive consistent design ofsecurity for Cloud services and requires the ability to work well acrossgroups. The role requires coordination between the GBUs Development, CloudServices, Services, and Operations teams and Oracle's centralized CorporateSecurity Group and Oracle Legal organizations. Strong communicationskills and ability to present at senior leadership levels are required. *Responsibilities* * Provide security architecture and engineering designconsulting to the Global Business Units (GBUs) Product Development organizationsand GBU/Oracle Cloud for Industry (OCI) hosting organization * Provide software development consultation as needed to GBUproduct development staff on aspects of product development and cloud security * Provide IT and operational infrastructure security analysisand guidance to secure Cloud Operations infrastructure and services * Perform technical security assessment and pen-testactivities within the GBUs customer hosting cloud environments, legacy and OCIdata center infrastructure * Assist OCI and GBU Application Management System (AMS)groups in hosting operations to resolve security incidents and managecorrective activity * Ensure sustainability of the security posture in cloudhosting operations and Customer data protection * Evaluate relevant aspects of IT security, operationsecurity, software product security, systems security, and other emergingsecurity technologies to support OCI business objectives. * Follow-up on implementation of corrective actions fromengineering design reviews, assessments and incidents, and provide directguidance for security remediation activities to the GBU and OCI * Be a primary security point of contact for the GBUdevelopment lines of business, and liaise with other corporate security and ITsecurity organizations as necessary to fulfill OCI organizationalresponsibilities * Perform special security or research projects on an ad hocbasis as directed by management * Provide reporting and metrics regarding the work being donewithin the Security Architecture team * Support security audit activity related to the PCI DSS,HIPAA, FedRamp, SSAE/ISAE attestations * Perform other duties as assigned *Preferred Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree; graduate degree applicable to regulatoryoversight preferable * At least 5-10 years work in governance and compliance for alarge corporation * Deep understanding of hardware, software, securitytechnology and tools * Extensive knowledge of risk analysis and the development ofsecurity systems and protocols * Able to work independently and build relationships and trustacross organizations * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with security-related systems and applications,especially mainstream OS s (eg Microsoft Windows, Linux), network securityappliances, identity and access management (IAM) systems, anti-malwaresolutions, automated policy compliance and desktop security tools. * Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers,switches, firewalls and associated network protocols and concepts. * Experience in use of DLP, FIM, asset management, SIEM andother IT Security solutions * Experience in assessing and implementing host-level securitymechanisms and monitoring systems * * *Work Location: *Open to considering qualified candidatesbased in any US location.
