We are currently seeking an Sales Associate on our Miami based office who will perform a variety of administrative and sales support duties for a Brazil focused team. This position requires specific language proficiency skills, a wide range of administrative skills, knowledge of organizational policies and trading industry procedures. The role of the Sales Associate is to provide support to the sales desk personnel, setup and monitor new accounts, data entry, reconciliation, report monitoring, and general non-trading related duties.


Process, maintain, and handle filing of:

· Customer new account related documents
· After-trade reconciliation reports
· Customer documents missing/incomplete new account forms
· Communicate with Operations on settlement specifics
· Review wire/check request processing and monitor customer accounts in coordination with AZ Apice Compliance and clearing firm Margin Department, AML, and operations dept.
· Assist in internal operations and clients’ specific support personnel to resolve any settlement issues
· Monitor new account setup by assisting client’s complete internal forms, notifying and coordinating with clearing firm on document completion and submission. Follow up with all parties until completion for any additional information and paperwork where needed
· Work closely with advisory, sales & trading support team to ensure settlement of transactions
· Back up Salespeople
· Field questions and proactively resolve problems to ensure clients are serviced properly.
· Assist with other general office administrative tasks and special projects, as needed


· Language requirement: Must speak Portuguese, English and Spanish
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
· High proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly power point basics presentation skills and elaborate Excel spreadsheets.
· Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
· Superior communications skills, both oral and written; effective interpersonal skills
· Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
