Seeking a reliable administrative assistant to handle the day-to-day operations of an industrial arts college in Wynwood. This is both an on-site and remote position with flexible hours, good pay, and benefits.

Miami College of Design seeks a highly motivated self-starter that thrives in fast-paced environment, as they must oversee several ongoing projects at once. This is an opportunity to be a key player in the successful opening of the college and office's operations, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage deadlines, and resolve conflict is crucial.

As a representative of the college, professional appearance, and demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong typing and technical skills are a must.
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and managerial skills, as they are responsible for all activities, projects, and employees of their offices.
Strong interpersonal skills are important for this position in order to work well with both customers and employees.

Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Plan and schedule appointments and events
Greet and assist onsite guests
Answer inbound telephone calls
Develop and implement organized filing systems
Perform all other office tasks
Work directly with management to manage calendars, schedules, projects and act as a liaison between internal administrators and contractors / service providers.
Coordinate space and office organization; maintaining paper and electronic files. purchase and manage supplies and equipment.
Coordinate office and/or departmental operations.
Review, track and maintain records and databases.
Work closely with staff to ensure that operations are running smoothly, and they must always stay up-to-date on the statuses of all projects to report directly to the president / other executives.
Schedule travel, appointments, and meetings.
Must have a reliable mode of transportation, tasks may include running errands and fulfilling tasks as they are assigned.
