A bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
Preference will be given to applicants with the following:
A Bachelors degree with a major in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, insurance or risk management AND Two (2) or more years of recent professional experience in complex accounting, examining, analyzing, investigating or auditing financial data within the banking, insurance, mortgage or securities industry compliance. A Masters degree from an accredited college or university with a major in finance, economics, accounting or business administration or a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) certificate can substitute for one (1) year of the preferred experience.
Supervision of securities industry personnel or regulations of securities industry.
Additional preference may be given to applicants with supervisory experience of Broker Dealer and Investment Advisory personnel.

This job requires frequent/overnight work:related travel.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
