Job Designation
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator performs a range of administrative tasks to assist the Sales and Marketing Team in reaching the business objectives. Supports general account administration between departments within the function.
Job Core Responsibilities
+ Performs a variety of administrative tasks and coordinates activities to support the Sales and Marketing Team in meeting their goals and objectives
+ Supports the teams by assisting with general account administration between departments, within the function
+ Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail and correspondence with external clients, while maintaining a professional manner
+ Supports the development of sales leads through market research, networking and cold calls
+ Maintains the databases, reports and records that are necessary to support Sales and Marketing activities
+ Provides excellent customer service through prompt responses to inquiries and routine problem solving
+ Operates a variety of office equipment to accomplish daily tasks and orders office supplies to keep consumables in stock
+ Makes travel arrangements and maintains group calendars for the team
+ Other responsibilities as assigned
+ Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
+ Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years Experience: 3 years or more of relevant experience depending on the complexity level of the job
+ Knowledge and experience in sales/marketing processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team
+ Excellent internal and external customer service skills
+ Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
+ Ability to solve typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options
+ Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
