About the Job


Deposit all checks (using check deposit machine) and cash and post to A/R.
Process and post to A/R all credit card payments.
Maintain and update customer credit card data.
Post all ACH & Wire Transfer payments received
(When necessary) Post NSF checks and follow NSF procedure
Manage credit hold and all accounts that enter the hold
Contact customers for payments as required (past due and over limit accounts)
Approve orders for past due customers and arrange for check P/U’s required.
Advice sales reps of past due accounts and supply them with weekly aging report.
Advise customer service of credits needed due to short payments.
Apply credits to corresponding invoices
Control and maintain sales rep responsibility forms.
Process, follow up, and review credit applications and run credit reports. Set up approval terms in system.
Print aging reports
Make necessary adjustments on customer short-pays
Maintain DR-13 forms for sales tax exemptions-Keep updates on DR-13 forms after verified with State of Florida


· Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts receivable or accounting including data entry, cash receipts and customer correspondence.

· Ability to process information accurately and under deadlines

· Excellent analytical skills and quick decision making

· Good written and verbal communication skills required

· Knowledge and experience with the operation of Word processing, Excel and spreadsheet software knowledge is helpful

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment, often under pressure

· Ability to maintain a positive attitude and project a positive image of the company at all times

· Ability to work with a variety of people

· Service orientation towards sales staff, co-workers and customers.

· Knowledge of sales tax law is helpful

· Bilingual preferred
