Kforce has a client in the Doral, Florida (FL) area seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist Assistant. Summary:The ideal candidate will be responsible for data entry of claims, refunds, adjustments, and any other accounting transactions related to A/R management. Their daily duties are to assure accurate balances at the end of month and year. One must collaborate with the Accounts Receivable group and other assistants to maintain the general A/R performance levels.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
* Prepare all documentations and information related to customers account for credit purposes
* Apply and post credits to customers' invoices
* Freight claims analysis, submit claims receivables, and prepare adjustments if needed, for approval
* Review monthly receivable aging. Investigate and follow up credit discrepancies or misapplied transactions
* Validate customer's deductions
* Work closely with sales staff for collections and customer credits
* Keep log and send Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA or RA)
* Work together with the credit team for problems solving
* Assist in the closing month ending
* Assist routers regarding merchandise return and other needs related
* Comfortably interact with co-workers of all professional levels
* Maintain a clean work environment
* Assist with any clerical, administrative, and accounting duties, as requested
* Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
* Experience in accounts receivable y/o credit department for at least 2 (two) years
* Organized and experienced in handling large documents volume, is desirable
* Computer literate
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power point)
* Typing and data entry skills
* Ability to speak and write English and Spanish
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and, oral
* Detail oriented and analytical skills, is a plus
